Creamy Garlic Chicken Thighs

These chicken thighs turn out tender and full of garlic flavor. The creamy sauce is rich without being complicated. Everything cooks slowly so the chicken has time to absorb the herbs and seasoning. Serve it with mashed potatoes, rice or vegetables for a warm homemade meal that is easy to enjoy any day.

Black pepper1/2 tsp

Fresh parsley2 tbsp, chopped

3 Instructions
Pat the chicken thighs dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika and Italian seasoning.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken for about 2 minutes on each side.
Place the chicken in the crockpot and add the minced garlic.
Pour in the chicken broth. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Remove the chicken and keep it covered. Stir the cream cheese and heavy cream into the cooking liquid until smooth.
Return the chicken to the crockpot and spoon the sauce over it.
Cook uncovered for another 10 to 15 minutes if the sauce needs to thicken.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve.
