Garlic Butter Steak Bites
1. Overview
These steak bites are browned quickly in a hot skillet and finished with butter, garlic and a little parsley. The outside develops a deep sear while the inside stays tender and juicy when cooked to your preferred doneness. Serve them with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables or crusty bread to soak up the garlic butter.
Why You'll Love It
- ✓ Quick Sear: Small pieces of steak brown quickly in a hot skillet, giving them plenty of caramelized edges.

2. Ingredients
- 600 g Sirloin steak, cut into 3 cm cubes
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 5 cloves Garlic, minced
- ½ tsp Dried thyme
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
3. Instructions
7 StepsPat the steak pieces dry with paper towels. Season evenly with salt and black pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add the steak pieces in a single layer, leaving space between them. Cook for 2–3 minutes without moving them so the first side develops a deep brown sear.
Turn the steak pieces and cook for another 2–3 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on several sides and cooked to your preferred doneness. Transfer the steak to a plate.
Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and dried thyme. Cook for 30–45 seconds, stirring constantly, until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
Return the steak bites and any accumulated juices to the skillet. Toss gently to coat every piece in the garlic butter. Cook for 30–60 seconds.
Remove the skillet from the heat. Add the lemon juice and chopped parsley and toss once more.
Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. Serve the steak bites immediately while warm.
